What Are Free Zoo Days?
On the first Tuesday of each month, the Houston Zoo opens its doors for free, allowing guests to explore everything the zoo has to offer from open until close. It’s the perfect opportunity to spend time with family and friends, observe exotic animals, and create lasting memories—all for free!
Important Details
- Online reservations are required for all non-members, so be sure to grab your free tickets online. Tickets will not be available at the gate, and spots are limited.
- This summer, the zoo has doubled its ticket allotment for July, August, and September to accommodate even more visitors, so make sure you take advantage of this!
- Tickets for upcoming Free Zoo Days, including September 10 and October 1, will be available starting Wednesday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m.
What’s Included?
Your free admission covers the entire zoo experience, but some attractions are available at an additional cost, including:
