With Christmas fast approaching, churches across Houston are preparing beautiful programs and performances to entertain and inspire this holiday season!
Champion Forest Baptist Church- From December 8th to the 11th, Champion Forest Baptist Church puts on “Christmas Spectacular!” With a live band and orchestra for musical renditions of classic Christmas carols, complete with dancers and performances, this show will blow you away. Champion Forest also includes the Nativity scene and the biblical account of Jesus’ birth, complete with real camels and an elephant! Tickets go for either $5, $7, or $10.
Woodlands Church- With 40,000 friends and neighbors, the 23rd annual Woodlands Church Christmas Eve service is filled with powerful music, an uplifting message, classic carols with candlelight, and a real snow-filled Winter Wonderland. There will also be a live nativity scene for your children to experience. Second Baptist Church- Christmas Under the Big Top at Second Baptist Church is a story of a traveling circus turned Christmas show! The Robichauxs will captivate adults and children alike with their high-flying jumps and twirls to tell this unique Christmas story. Shows will go on from December 16th to the 20th, and tickets can be purchases online, prices ranging from 10 to 25 dollars.
Houston’s First Baptist Church- In eight presentations, First Baptist puts on “Celebration” from December 7th to the 11th. This performance’s goal is to reach over 25,000 people with the story of Jesus’ birth for this Christmas season. With music, dance, and Christmas spirit, this show is more than a holiday musical and invites you to make a memory. Tickets online go from 8 to 28 dollars.
The Woodlands United Methodist Church- This musical celebration celebrates the greatest gift of all on December 10th and 11th. Magnificat: A Christmas Musical is presented by the Woodlands UMC Chancel Choir and Sanctuary Orchestra, and tickets are online now.
