Rosehill Christian Private School is a college preparatory Christian school for grades starting at preschool to high school, focusing on academically advanced students in the Tomball, Waller, Cypress, Magnolia and The Woodlands areas since 1990. Rosehill aims to prepare students not just for their academic success but also for the real world as well as they continue their spiritual walk in life.
The class size ratio is between 15 and 18, however the classes to vary depending on grade level. The school does require a uniform, with the exception of Fridays when the dress is more casual for students and staff, as well as are “themed” days throughout the schoolyear as well.
Rosehill offers many different athletic options for students as well in their gymnasiums, and the campus is continually growing to accommodate more students and their goals.
Because Rosehill seeks to push students academically and spiritually, prospective students are tested before accepted to make sure they have an average to above average ability to be successful in the school’s environment. Past grades, report cards, teacher evaluations, and an interview is all taken into consideration when looking at prospective students. As students move up to the higher grades they are encouraged to take advanced or honors courses and then duel-credit or AP courses.
Parent involvement is crucial and welcomed at Rosehill with a variety of options for every parent. The elementary school has a PALS program for regular parent volunteering as well as a PTO. There is also a Dads in Prayer group and Rosehill Christian Athletics Association as opportunity to plug in and be involved with the school and your child’s education.
Rosehill is very committed to the spiritual growth of students and therefore offers weekly chapel for students as well as Bible class daily. Service opportunities to teach children how to give back to the community are often given as well as an annual trip at the beginning of the year of the high school designed specifically for spiritual growth and fellowship.
