Friday Night Sights @ Discovery Green - This documentary illustrates the artist's inspiration for his first outdoor Field of Light in Wiltshire, UK, through to his UK and US exhibitions.

Saturday February 6th
Los Trompos @ Discovery Green - The colorful, large-scale, temporary installation, which take their form from the common toy, will delight park visitors of all ages.

Mardi Gras @ Mandell Park - 
Dress up the kids and join our Second Line and parade down Bonnie Brae.

Clever Clothespin Toy @ Houston Center For Contemporary Craft - 
Choose from one of our templates or create your own design, add color, and affix to a clothespin.

Sunday February 7th
Lunar New Year Festival @ Discovery Green -  “Journey from Qingxi" an audio visual performance highlights this art filled celebration including a dance performance from Dance of Asian America.

Wednesday February 10th

Nature Story Time - Learn about nature with this weekly story time. Includes crafts, songs, live animals, short nature walks and more.

Texas Lunar Festival @ Hermann Square - At the annual Texas Lunar Festival, we celebrate the impressive qualities of every culture while celebrating the Asian Lunar New Year.

Curious George Swings By The Houston Children's Museum - Enjoy Curious George themed crafts and a reading of the famous book.

Monday, February 15th:
Sensory Friendly Day @ Houston Children's Museum - Join us for Sensory Friendly Day, where children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and sensory processing differences will have the opportunity to explore the Museum in a safe and accepting environment!

Saturday, February 20th:

Interactive Parent Workshop @ Houston Children's Museum - Join us for this interactive workshop where our team of educators will provide parents with resources to promote a healthy self-esteem in your children.
